Before any work begins, each tyre undergoes a rigorous multi-point inspection. We employ visual, tactile, and advanced non-destructive shearography testing to scan for microscopic belt separations, impact damage, and structural fatigue.
Approved casings proceed to the buffing station. Here, computer-controlled lathes precisely remove the remaining old tread, correcting any out-of-roundness and preparing the exact texture required for optimal bonding.
A highly cohesive layer of unvulcanized rubber (cushion gum) is extruded onto the buffed casing. This acts as the critical bonding agent. Depending on the process (Hot or Cold), the new tread pattern is then applied with surgical precision.
The final, transformative step. The assembled tyre is encased in a flexible envelope and placed into an autoclave or heated mould. Through the precise application of heat, time, and pressure, the cushion gum vulcanizes.
