Are retreaded tyres safe for high-speed highway driving?
Yes. Modern retreading, especially our Pre-Cure (Cold) process combined with 100% non-destructive shearography casing inspection, produces a tyre that safely handles sustained highway speeds and loads. Commercial airlines and school buses routinely rely on retreaded tyres.
How many times can a single casing be retreaded?
A high-quality, Tier-1 casing (like Michelin, Bridgestone, or Goodyear) can typically be retreaded 2 to 3 times for line-haul operations, provided the casing has been properly maintained and hasn't suffered catastrophic puncture or run-flat damage.
Does retreading save me more than buying budget imported tyres?
Absolutely. While a cheap imported new tyre might have a low initial purchase price, the casing is usually inferior and cannot be retreaded. A premium retread on a quality casing delivers superior mileage and lower rolling resistance, leading to a significantly lower total Cost-Per-Kilometre (CPK).
What happens if you reject my casing during inspection?
If our shearography scanners or visual inspectors find non-repairable damage (like micro-fractures in the steel belts), we mark the casing as rejected. We will notify you immediately and can either safely dispose of it according to environmental regulations or return it to your facility.
